He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Everett Vaughan and Mary Edith Walters Vaughan; his wife Peggy Vaughan; and his brother Dallas Vaughan. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Vaughan of Jonesboro, Larry Vaughan (Pat) of Fayetteville, Walter Vaughan, Jr. (Denise) of Franklin and Rick Floyd (Andrea) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives and friends.
