He is survived by: his wife Linda Massey of Franklin; his sons, Vester Troy Massey of Franklin, Chris Massey (Janet) of Centralhatchee and Russell Dean Massey of Franklin; his grandchildren, Vester Ryan Massey (Meredith), David Massey and Priscilla Massey; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Garner, Gaines and Brayden; and his sisters, Elaine Massey, Angela Cornell, Lisa Wilson and Greta Dudley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
