He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Lipford and Cammie Stephens Lipford; his wife Lucile Simmons Lipford; and his siblings, Camille Lipford Staples and Frank Steve Lipford.
He is survived by: his sons, Lawrence Lipford (Kathy) of Franklin and Mack Lipford (Betty) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Alex Lipford, Randall Lipford, Carl Lipford, Shannon Brice (Lin), Harry Lipford and Kimberly White (Richard); and his great grandchildren, Seth, Nate Brice and Kaci White. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Franklin First Baptist Church.
