With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Beatrice McWhorter (Franklin, Georgia), who passed away on June 17, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rev. Rufus Alexander McWhorter and Stella Beatrice Eley McWhorter; and her brother Terry Lane.

She had very little to work with at first, but through prayer, hard work, donations and volunteers she built what became the Mission Centers of Houston.
