He was predeceased by: his mother Leona Robertson Raughton; and his brother-in-law Billy Bassett. He is survived by: his children, Joe Jones (Donna) of Franklin, Lea Wingate (Travis) of Franklin, Chris Jones (Christine) of Franklin, Jacqsun Jones of New York and Jamie Mandell of Franklin; his grandchildren, Alicia McClain (Michael), Amy Loftin (Joe), Sean Smith, Anthony Jones, Justin Jones (Emerald), Clyde Chaffin, Douglas Chaffin, Sierra Wingate, Sarah Wingate, Garrett Wingate, Gio Arroyo, Timothy Dewberry (Brittany), Zach Dewberry, Andrew Dewberry (Shanessey) and Lexi Cook; and his siblings, Patricia Bassett of Roberta, GA and James Raughton (Nancy) of Rockmart. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stutts Funeral Home (2717 Franklin Pkwy, Franklin, GA 30217). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
