She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Merrill Butler and Clara Laverne Kent Butler; and her brothers, Jacel Butler and Russell Butler. She is survived by: her husband Morris Shelnutt of Franklin; her children, Wanda Shelnutt Haney of Roopville, Chris Shelnutt of Savannah and Scott Shelnutt of Savannah; and her sister Shelba Jean Hardeman of Franklin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
