She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey Adams and Cecil Vines Adams; her siblings, Irene Walter, Peggy Holloway, Junior and Jerry Adams; and her husband Johnny Gerald Mitchell.
She is survived by: her sons, Hugh Mitchell (Kelly) of Franklin, Lane Mitchell (Rhonda) of Whitesburg and Clint Mitchell (Monica) of Franklin; her grandchildren, Michael Mitchell, Zane Mitchell, Taylor Mitchell, Luke Mitchell and Emma Mitchell; and her sister Joyce Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
