We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2023, at the age of 93, Johnnie Burdette Lane of Franklin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Brewer Lane and Newtie Leola Moore Lane; his son Charles Lane; and his siblings, Betty Cooper, Doris Forbes, Thomas Lane and Robert Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hawk Lane of Franklin; his children, Parks Lane (Jean) of Franklin, Joy Johnson (Chris) of LaGrange and Kem Lane (Shae) of Bowdon; his grandchildren, Brandon Lane, Dustin Lane, Josh Lane, Christi Lane, Jonathan Johnson, Justin Johnson, Maegan Bell and Hunter Lane; his great grandchildren, Hank, Ludie of Porter, J. R., Jamie, Jake, Cheyenne, Cody, William and Chance; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Lane. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Franklin First Baptist Church in Mr. Lane's name.
