He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Brown and Viola Brown; his wife Fannie B. Brown; his granddaughter Porchia Marsha Jones; and his siblings, Catherine McPherson, Willard Brown, Ella Wee Strickland and Steven Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Charlene Jarrell (Tim) of Franklin, GA, Carl Brown (Mary) of Franklin, GA, Cathryn Brown of Franklin, GA, Susan Foster (Amos) of Roanoke, AL and Anthony Zachary of Atlanta, GA; his goddaughter Veronica Strickland of LaGrange, GA; his grandchildren, Ghie Ghie Brown, Carlos Brown, Angelus Brown, Kemaiya Brewer, Trinitee Owens, Brionna Strickland, Tez Broome, Kewonia Slaughter, Lakeisha Slaugher, Ken Bowles and Jaketa McClure; his siblings, Margret Trammell (Clarence Prothro), Yvonne Rosser (Joseph) of Whitesburg, GA, Glenn Brown (Grace) of Atlanta, GA and Jerome Brown of Atlanta, GA; and his close friends, Deacon Ross Thomaston, Deacon Tyrone Wilkerson, Jim Craford, Myrna Stephens and Carlton "Bopete" Jackson. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
