With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Shepherd of Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on August 10, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Young Daniel Moman and Lura Smith Moman; her husband James Donald Shepherd; her siblings, Alice Formby, Buck Moman, Mae Ballard and Eugene "Bubba" Moman; her grandchildren, Cory, Jody and Alton; and her great grandchildren, Haylee and Weston.

She is survived by: her children, Heath Porritt (Jackie McKenzie), James Porritt (Penny), Daniel Porritt (Sarah), Tammy Copeland (Garland) and Dee Shepherd (Amy); her siblings, James Moman, Clint Moman (Regina), Pete Moman, Ruby Caldwell, Ruth Mock, Frances Moman-Johnson (Lee), Hazel Heath (A. J.) and Christine Phillips; her sister-in-law Brenda Moman; her grandchildren, Jasmine, Cody (Amanda), Matthew (Mandy), Steven, Michael (Kayelyn), Janet (Glenn), Jade (Jimmy), Savannah, Payton, DeWayne, Courtney, Crystal, Dylan and Deanna; her great grandchildren, Avalyn, Calvin, Gavin, Conner, Kaylee, Jack, Baylee, Isaiah, Nevaeh, Emma, Ayden, Henli and Brayden; and her close friend Mitch Daughtery. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
