She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Monroe Smith and Selena Alice Whitley Smith; her husband William Cleveland "Bill" Whitley; and her son Dwayne Ralph Lowery. She is survived by: her children, Betty Sue Lowery Wallace of Franklin, Alice Lowery Hadaway of Deatsville, AL and Rodney Lowery of Franklin; and her sister Dorothy "Dot" Wood of Decatur. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stutts Funeral Home (2717 Franklin Pkwy, Franklin, GA 30217). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
