He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Carlton Gardner and Louise Haney Gardner; and his brother Carlton Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Riggs Gardner of Franklin; his daughter Angela; and his children-in-law, Richard Finch of Franklin, GA and Lynnette Gardner of Villa Rica.
