He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Dorsey Armstrong, Sr. and Ozelle Cagle Armstrong; and his wife Ann Armstrong. He is survived by: his children, Tim Armstrong (Linda), Wanda Brooks (Wayne), Ricky Leach, Scott Leach, Dana Dunn (Mike), Deana Boone (Shane), Carey Armstrong, Tammy Yearwood (Raymond), Matthew Armstrong, Michael Armstrong (Laci), Phillip Armstrong, Amanda Armstrong, Paul Armstrong, Anthony Armstrong and Andrew Armstrong; and his brother Tommy Armstrong (JoAnne). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
