It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Lay (Franklin, Georgia), who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Frank Lay and Ella Davis Lay; and his siblings, Ruby Turner, Ruth Laye, Elmer Laye, W. C. Laye, Robert Laye and Booker T. Laye.
He is survived by: his wife Christine V. Laye; his children, Marvin Laye of Roopville, GA, Timothy Randall Laye of Jersey City, NJ, Pamela Laye Smith of Roopville, GA, Dennis Laye (Lisa), Patrick Laye (Venus) of Douglasville, GA, Stacy Laye of Douglasville, GA and Jeffery Laye (Amy); and his siblings, Ella, Dorothy Ways of Snellville, GA, Margraite Ree Laye of Atlanta, GA, Willie Frank Laye of Franklin, GA and Charlie Lewis Laye (Linda) of Franklin, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
