It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Felton Lee Sims of Franklin, Georgia, born in Lyerly, Georgia, who passed away on November 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee and Lerla McCutchen Sims; his wife Virginia Lee Henry Sims; and his siblings, Clevidale Hawkins, Marvelene Devalt, Christine Gary, Mary Crane, Jack West, Fred "Doodle" Sims, Richard "Merdie" Sims and Alfred "Bob" Sims.
He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Sonja Loretta Sims; and his granddaughter Florinda Sims.
