She was predeceased by: her parents, Santos Vazquez and Alicia Mercado Vazquez. She is survived by: her son Angel Nieves; her sister Ramona Lopez; her husband Jose Arroyo; her children, Linda Nieves Munoz, Leonardo Nieves and Blanca Nieves; her sister Flora Vasquez; and her grandchildren, Israel Mercado, Jr., Sonya Mercado, Cynthia Torres, Mark Anthony Mercado, Angie Torres and Vivianna Torres. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
