He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Carol Barnes, George, Peggy Barnes, Joseph and Betty Barnes; his wife Freddie McFarlin Barnes; his children, Susan Barnes Thurmond and Barry; his daughter-in-law Tracey Barnes; his grandsons, Michael Hallford, Dustin Hallford, Jeremy (Brittainy Barnes), Corey Barnes and Devin Thurmond; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Jacey and Lilah; his brother Daniel; his sister-in-law Carolyn Barnes; his sisters, Bonnie (Leon Ivey) and Dallas; and his siblings-in-law, Billy and Gloria Stovall.
