It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Estelle Dean Cassel of Franklin, Georgia, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hullett Dean and Thelma Shelnutt Dean; her husband Roy Travis "Chick" Cassel; her children, Ronnie Cassel and Sandra Queen; and her close friend Bobby Agans.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Knowles (Dwight) of Franklin and Roger Cassel (Tina) of Franklin; her grandchildren, Macie Cassel and Jake Cassel; and her sister Mary Crump of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heard County Animal Shelter.
