He is survived by: his wife Joyce Thompson of Franklin; his daughter Marie; his son-in-law Chris Dugger of Franklin; his son Rodney Thompson of Franklin; his grandchildren, Joshua Laster, Danielle Purdy and Melissa Thompson; and his sister Wilma Hart of LaGrange. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
