He was predeceased by: his parents, James Theodore Frederick, Sr. and Mildred Frances Burton Frederick; his daughter Janet Frederick; and his siblings, Janie Baron, Terrell, Jack and Gary Frederick.
He is survived by: his sister Betsy Crane; his wife Janet Frederick of Franklin; his children, Rhonda Raines (Chris) of Franklin and Dennis Frederick (Debbie) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Alexis Raines, Caden Raines, Josh Byram (Kacy), Jake Frederick (Lexie) and Sam Frederick; his siblings, Diann Crane (James) of Douglasville, Jimmy Frederick (Carolyn) of Jonesboro and Larry Frederick (Allena) of Palmetto; and his pet Rusty. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
