She was predeceased by: her father Artis Smith; her husband Ray Whitley Gore; her son Michael Gore; and her sisters, Charlotte Smith and Shirley Striblin.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Gore (Andrea Winkles) of Franklin and Jeff Gore of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Winkles Gore, Tiffany Hallmark, Tamara Gore, Kevin Gore (Molly), Brandon Gore, Bryan Gore and Megan Dewald (Joey); and her brother Jerry Smith (Sue) of Roanoke. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
