He is survived by: his mother Alice Crenshaw McCollum of Franklin; his wife Tammy Yates Mims of Franklin; his son Jerry Michael Mims of Roopville; his granddaughters, Krista Adams (Logan) and Victoria Mims; his sister Cyndy Radford (Jim) of Acworth; his mother-in-law Brenda Milam; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Yates, Danny Yates (Amy) and Joseph Milam; and his close friends, Sherrell Cowart, Pat Bostwick and Elliott Bostwick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
