It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Eugene Benefield Sr. of Franklin, Georgia, born in Lynchburg, Tennessee, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Louie Benefield and Lillian Lee Clifton Benefield; his wife Dorrey Tatum Benefield; and his brothers, James "Bud" Benefield and Richard Benefield.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanna Moore (Kenneth) of Newnan, Charles E. Benefield, Jr. (Brenda) of LaGrange, Regina Hernandez (Lucio) of LaGrange, Tonya Roberts (Johnny) of Woodland, AL, Danny Benefield of Florida, Michelle Sajche (Yonatan) of Carrollton, Patrick Benefield of Tennessee, Clendenin (Robert) of LaGrange, Kimberly Benefield of Hogansville and Ronnie Benefield of Carrollton; his siblings, Sue Kirby, Betty Laster, Frances Kemp, Daisy Arnold and Clide Benefield; and his son Randall Benefield. He is also survived by other children; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
