He is survived by: his mother Darlene Elois Brooks Massie; his wife Ariane Hughes of Franklin; his children, Jessica Sheriff (Wayne) of Winder, Rodney Hughes of Winder, Renee Bright (Chris) of Franklin, Adam York of Carrollton and Kayla York of Commerce; and his siblings, Teresa George of Homosassa, FL, Stephanie Bennett (Eddie) of Franklin, Phyliss Mosely (Carl) of Honoraville, AL and Michael Hughes (Michelle) of Gloucester, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
