It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Belva J. Stanaway of Franklin, Georgia, born in Carrollton, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Patterson and Erma Robison Patterson. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Stanaway of Franklin, Georgia; her children, Evangeline, Dewayne Garren of Forsyth, Chuck and Bridgett Barr of Vass; her stepchildren, Dr. Amy Johnson of Mt. Julliett, Gaye Knapp of Crossville and Ian Stanaway of Martinsville, Virginia; and her close friend Belle Clark. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great, grandchildren.
