It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sonny Clements of Fortson, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mizell Clements Sr. and Christine Oliver Clements; and his wife Fannie Laura Harrell Clements. He is survived by: his siblings, Pete Clements (Helen Clements) of Harlem, GA and Ann Ray (Mitchell Ray) of Douglas, GA; his children, Michael F. Clements of Columbus, GA and Louann Clements Buck (William C. Buck Jr.) of Columbus, GA; and his grandchildren, Justin M. Clements of Atlanta, GA, Caitlin C. Clements of Smyrna, GA and Bradley F. Clements of Charleston, SC.
In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, a public Celebration of Life for Coach Clements will be held at a later date.
