He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Scarborough II and Sybil Ozmore Scarborough; his wife Mary Nell Scarborough; his son Roy L. Beatty; his great grandchild Hattie Nell Campbell; and his sister Barbara Ann Logan.
He is survived by: his sister Rose S. Smith (Les); his children, Rhonda D. Noel and Joseph J. Scarborough IV (Chris); and his grandchildren, Steven L. Locklar (Leah), Elise Toms, Mallory Campbell (Clint) and Adam Beatty.
In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be required during the services.
