It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clareen Joy Shackelford of Fortson, Georgia, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Chopin and Clarence Chopin; her son Robert Shackelford; and her sister Marilyn Brauer. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Shackelford; her children, Steven Shackelford, Jolyce Lumpkin and Elizabeth Baker; and her grandchildren, Lindley Stone, Lorin Baker and Kari Shackelford. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
