It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joann Turner of Fortson, Georgia, born in Dadeville, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Raymond Berry and Flora Mae Fomby Berry; her husband Buford Thomas Turner; her children, Buford Randy Turner and Deborah Kay Turner; her siblings, James Junior Berry, Roy Lynn Berry and Mavis Berry Lusco; and her daughter-in-law Kay Grantham Turner (Jack Buckner).
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Hall of Opelika, AL, Shirley Nolan of Granite City, IL, Peggy Dixon Moore of Fortson, GA, Billy Wayne Berry (Gayle) of Auburn, AL and Aylene Berry; her sisters-in-law, Valley (Alice June Rosenbalm) and Poplar Grove; her grandchildren, Brandy Brown (Mike), Courtney McAbee (Michael), Bo Turner Greene, Cameron Greene (Lindsey) and Nathan Greene (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Hope, Grace, Faith, Jaxson, Lucas and Raymond; and her nieces and nephews, Shannon, Shelby, Sarah, Josh, Cindy, Kathy, Scotty, Peewee, Levi, Jason, Connie, Mark, Robbie, Timmy, Amy, Stevie, John Alan, Debbie, Cheryl, Greg, Mike and Darren.
