He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Sylvester Bethune, Jr. and Rubye Katherine Abney Bethune; and his sister Faye Breland. He is survived by: his wife Vivian H. Bethune; his niece Kimberly Potter; his nephew Neal Lowery; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Kiskaden (Larry), Pam Redden (Larry), Theresa Jones, Debbie Hargett and Pat Hargett.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel (2932 US Hwy 41, Fort Valley, GA 31030). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Church of Perry.
