She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Ellington and Mary Lou Parham Ellington; her husband Joseph Daniel McLeroy; her daughter Mary Stephanie Lawhorn; her brother Clayton Ellington (Ann); and her granddaughter Ashleigh N. Harlowe.
She is survived by: her son Marcus McLeroy (Patti) of Fort Valley; and her grandchildren, Kelly M. Kovitch of Fort Valley, Bryan M. Harlowe of Warner Robins, Mary Brook Lawhorn of Perry and Miranda G. Lawhorn of Perry. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
