It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Buchanan of Fort Valley, Georgia, born in Reynolds, Georgia, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Sizemore and Nettie Kate Hortman Sizemore; her husbands, Joseph Cummings and Wayne Buchanan; her sons-in-law, Matt Smith and Larry Tribble; and her sisters, Faye Mitchell and Tyner Holland.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Tribble, Rick Cummings (Jeannie) and Vonda Smith; her grandchildren, Craig Tribble (Elisha), Ernie Tribble (Christy), Amanda Tribble (John Flournoy), Kham Crane, Jody Cummings, Keith Barker (Lauren) and Matthew Smith (Laura); and her sister Cherrie Huff. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
