He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pearson and Gladys Pearson (Garrett). He is survived by: his wife Mary Kirksey (McGee) of Fort Valley; his son James Russell Pearson, III (Charlene); his grandchildren, Rudy, Tucker of Columbus, GA, Lynn Scott Pearson (Elizabeth), Virginia and Ashley Todd Kirksey (Natalie); his great grandchildren, Eli of Greeley, CO and Jessica Kirksey (Andrew Berner) of Ventura, CA.; and his siblings, Jane Hulbert (Skeet) of Perry, GA, John Pearson (Debbie) of Perry, GA and Joe Pearson (Connie) of Fort Valley.
