He was predeceased by: his father Jimmie H. Giles; and his sisters, Lois Jackson and Claire Adams. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Gassett Giles; his children, Julie Greene (David) of Americus, Kim Adams (Vern) of Covington, Jimmy Giles (Sandra) of Bonaire and Johnny Giles of Wichita Falls, Texas; his daughter-in-law Kim Giles of Miami; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hunter (Chris), Alicia Bailey (Leon), David Greene Jr. (Amanda), Bill Dryden (Abigail), Jacob Giles (MacKenzie), Jonathan Giles, Caitlin Simkins (Tanner), Anna Giles and Noah Giles; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Hunter, Rachel Bailey, Anslee Bailey, Champ Marshall, Dylan Dryden and Sienna Simkins. He is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
