It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Robert Earnhardt of Fort Valley, Georgia, born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Douglas Earnhardt and Inez Rector Earnhardt; his brothers, Victor Earnhardt, Sr. and Gregory Earnhardt; and his son Robert Allen Earnhardt.
He is survived by: his wife Nettie Jo Hilliard Earnhardt; his children, James "Jim" Earnhardt, Delia Jordan and Susan Henson (Kirk); and his granddaughters, Amber Shaw, Jamie Dawson (Doug), Kathryn Earnhardt, JoLee Henson Carlson (Trevor) and Hannah Earnhardt. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
