He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Alton Walton Sr. and Winnie Young Walton; his wife Connie Hodge Walton; his granddaughter Ashton Dougherty; his son-in-law Tony English; and his sisters, Loretta Tidwell and Jewel Hopson.
He is survived by: his friend Robert Spinks (Trojan); his children, Debra Gibbs (George), Kathy English and Al Walton; his grandchildren, Jessica Gibbs, Colby English, Kara English, Luke Walton, Clay Walton and Emma Grace Walton; his great grandchildren, Aubry McLeod, Alex Dougherty and Alanna English; and his sister Donna Scott.
