She was predeceased by: her parents, Jakob Waldhier and Josefine Mangold Waldhier; her husband Malcomb Edwards; and her sons, Michael Schon Melton and Tilo Waldhier.
She is survived by: her children, Harold P. Melton (Lisa Kay), Violet Maria Sturm, Debra Kay Mason and Stephen Glenn Melton; and her grandchildren, Christopher Paul Melton (Erin Marie), Amber Elizabeth Melton, April Dawn Bowden (Tony), Charles Eugene McGuire (Nikki), Michael Shawn Jones (Kendall), Misty Michelle Avant (Chevis), Daniel Waldhier and Alexandria Waldhier. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
