She was predeceased by: her father John Wesley Thorp. She is survived by: her husband Lieutenant Colonel Garry Grimes; her mother Barbara Thorp (Floyd); her siblings, Richard Thorp (Tracy), Teresa Braniff (Bill), Christopher Thorp (Donna) and Steven Thorp (Darcy); and her nieces and nephews, John David McNeal, Kyle McNeal, Jennifer Thorp, Leah Barran (Thorp), Amanda Thorp and Aaron Thorp.
