Betty Lester Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2021, at the age of 84, Betty Lester of Fort Valley, Georgia, born in Roberta, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Lester to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Curtis and Mattie Ruth Smith Joyner; her husband Johnie George Lester; her son Stephen Curtis Lester; and her niece Robin Joyner.
She is survived by: her children, Jon Lester and Ann Blair (Dan); her grandchildren, Mandy Williamson (Jeff), Constance Blair, Justin Lester and Brayden Lester Fields; her great grandchildren, Lilly Williamson, Caden Williamson and Mason Williamson; her sister Fran Jones; and her sister-in-law Delores Joyner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Lester safe. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Association.
