It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Ruth Adams Shiflet of Fort Valley, Georgia, who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Ira Neal Shiflet; her parents, Mallory Adams and Patty Bray Adams; her siblings, Donald M. "Don" Adams, Oren Adams, Dallas Cordell, Troyce Clark Jones, Sara Bannister, Sue Nell Vickery, Janette McCormack and Geneva Cordell; and her great grandchild Taylor Jeffreys.
She is survived by: her son Wayne; her daughter-in-law Linda Bronkar Shiflet; her sister Eulaine Thomas; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Alexander (Danny), Pamela Price (Anthony) and Cathy Fortson (Steve); and her great grandchildren, Magdalen Dreigh Alexander, Kenzie Anderson, Riley Anderson, Rebekah Price, Alexis Price, Brandon Fortson, Stephanie Fortson and Mallory Fortson.
