She was predeceased by : her parents, Max Neal and Mary Neal; and her husband Edward Gordy. She is survived by : her son Derrick Ramsey (Sonya); her brother Greg Neal (Karey); her sister-in-law Rosa Gordy; and her grandchild Teagan Ramsey.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lakewood Memory Gardens South (325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
