She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Terry Childress; her son Jesse Lee Childress; her father Kenneth Meadows; and her grandparents, Elbert, Evelyn Meadows, Jesse and Nell Bowman.
She is survived by: her mother Sheila Bowman Meadows; her daughter Cassandra Leigh Childress (Cassie); her sister Kellie Michele Meadows Vaughan; her uncle Nick Meadows; and her friend Greg Walton. She is also survived by her son and daughter's best friends.
