He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Liz Bierig; and his former wife Luci Rabb. He is survived by: his wife Miranda "Randie" Jones Skiles; his children, Julie Wolf, Ron Whiting (Carolyn), Tony Whiting and Suzanne Phillips (David); his grandchildren, Joe, Eli, Tom, Cody Phillips, Sean, Catie Mooty, Matthew Wolf, Zak and Tyler Whiting; and his brother-in-law Neil Opprecht.
