He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Pitts and Lucille Pitts; his daughter Connie Harper; and his siblings, James Pitts, Elizabeth Leigh, Lema June Caldwell, Linda Hale and Gloria Noll.

He is survived by: his wife Mona Pitts; his siblings, Ronnie Pitts, Regis Eaker, Shirley Fowler and Nancy Walden; his brothers-in-law, Richard Hale and Mark Walden; and also Kim. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
