It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marvin Paul Konertz of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, who passed away on July 3, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Joseph Konertz and Margaret Kuehn Olsen; his wife Mary Sue Konertz; and his close friend Ruth Nyland. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Cross, Charlene Hardeman (Wayne) and Diana McGahee (Murray); and his grandchildren, Donald Hardeman, Dionne Rivers and Colin McGahee. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
