She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edgar Carden and Flossie Carden; her sister Libby; her husband William H. Pickering; her son William H. Pickering, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Jane Pickering of Chattanooga; her grandson Dr. William H. Pickering III of New York City; her sister Elizabeth Lounsbury (Libby); her brother-in-law Dr. John H. Lounsbury of Columbia; and her niece Elizabeth L. Thomas (Richard). She was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
