She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion "Buck" Edington and Hazel Lee Kilgo Edington; her husband John William Pittman; her son David William Pittman; her granddaughter Cynthia Lynn Pittman; and her siblings, Frances Elliot, May Belenchia, Charles Edington, Frank Edington, Dennis Edington and William "Boogie" Edington.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice Anderson (Butch) of Dickson, TN; her daughter-in-law Pam Pittman of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; her siblings, Becky Pope (Darrell) of Rossville, GA and Hal Edington (Maybess) of Oakland, TN; her grandchildren, Lea Waddell (Matthew) of Dickson, TN and Alex Pittman (Macy) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; her great grandchild Miles Waddell; her nieces, Elizabeth Maynor of Nashville, TN, Sandra Garrison of Dallas, TX, Rebecca Lee Maynor of Flintstone, GA and Aliyah Ware of Flintstone, GA; and her nephew James Kelley Pope (Tracy) of Grand Junction, CO. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - Ringgold Chapel (443 Boynton Dr, Ringgold, GA 30736). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
