He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hartley and Blanche Hartley; and his son Brent Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hartley; his children, Jimmy Hartley (Dorothy), Anita Cranfield, Susan Stiefel (Mike) and Jeff Hartley (Liu); his grandchildren, Jonathan Cranfield, Candy Chenkus, Jeremy Stiefel and Rachael Roden; his brother Clyde Hartley; and his pet Roddy. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
