He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Williams and Mayme Williams; and his siblings, Marie Williams Bickford, Velma Williams Holland, Cecil Williams and Thomas Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Williams; his brother Franklin Williams; his sons, Grady Williams (Kim) and David Williams (Michele); his grandchildren, Luke Hill, Justin Hill, Will Williams, Katie Gentry (Mitchell) and Megan Williams; and his great grandchild Emmie Hill.
