He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Steele; his children, George Duey Steele, III (Lana) and Linda Frances Steele (Carey); his siblings, Paul Steele, Ernest Steele, Roger Alvin Steele, Freida Lowery, Mary Evelyn McKee and Dianne Rogers; and his granddaughters, Carmen Smith, Allie Steele and Audrey Smith.
